About this Project - All Nine Blocks are now up!

Time to share photos! I've received one finished quilt top photo so far, I'd love to have more to show. Just the blocks or the assembled top photos are welcome!

The idea for this Block of the Month series came up in our Quilting Forum at Delphi (QFaD for short) and I decided to design a quilt which would be easy enough for novice quilters, but fun for more experienced quilters.

The size will be a queen size quilt when you are done.

The finished size of the quilt with a 3" border would be 90" x 102". The blocks are 12" blocks.

All blocks will be based on the 9 patch and each block will have directions posted to make each block, so with more than one way to assemble them.

I have a page of fabric ideas - there are theoretically 12 different fabrics used for the quilt. But, you could use less and if you love the scrappy quilt look as I do, you can pull from your stash, trade with friends and use as many fabrics as you wish to fill in the various colorways and contrasting fabrics.

Watch for the Gallery to see what fabrics other quilters have used in their BOM quilts.

There are 5 sample quilt top layouts to give you an idea of how the final quilt could look (this is not a Mystery Quilt so I'm showing you the end now).
See the Quilt Tops HERE.

I also am posting a linear version of the quilt for you to print out and color in with colored pencils to help your planning. I'll put it up on a web page, but also on a PDF page for easier printing.
Linear version of Quilt Top for coloring is here

A quilt top layout showing where the blocks are placed is here.

I hope to see photos shared of your blocks as you go along as well as quilt top photos!  Even the fabrics you choose laid out to share ideas would be fun to see and I'd love to post those.

This page will act as an INDEX as the 9 blocks go up and also as you send any photos of Work In Progress!

Isolated Fabrics in the 12 areas are shown here in diagrams
