In this part 4 we have two new free quilt pattern blocks: a bonsai tree and a house. Both need your creative "embellishment" to personalize them. You can use embroidery and/or applique.

  Knick Knack block 7: A Bonsai Tree

 Knick Knack block 8: A Little House  a free quilt block to paper piece and to embellish with doors, windows, flowers, chimney, etc. This block is an easy one to paper piece - it's all done in one unit.

Here's what the  little basic house  block looks like

 With some embroidery and some applique you can turn the house into a variety of different looks. Here's one simple example:

 

 

 

With some small pieces of fabric you can fuse or  embroider windows, a door and a flower box for your  house. Don't forget to add a chimney, too.
