Here's a clown block to appliqué to go with the circus tent block from the last feature (Click here for the free appliqué Circus Tent block) to use in a child's quilt. It's fun way to use up odd bits of bright fabrics. It can be any size (6-9" or so) - on the next page you'll see a larger diagram to help you see how to lay out the template pieces. The face is embroidered on, or use a permanent textile pen to draw in the features.
Print the templates and enlarge them a copy machine to the desired block size.
