A Duck to Applique
applique block pattern

Here's a duck block to applique for a child's quilt block. It's fun way to use up odd bits of bright fabrics. It can be any size (the sample is shown to be 8") - on the next page you'll see a larger diagram to help you see how to lay out the template pieces. You could add embroidered embellishments for more fun, too.

Print the templates and enlarge them a copy machine to the desired block size.

The little block you'll see in the corner of the templates and layout is a sizing block = 1" x 2" This will help you size the templates to make an 8" block.

Layout Color Diagram is HERE.

Templates are here (2 pages).

If you make one of these blocks, send me a photo or a scan to show off what fabrics you used.
