These tops illustrate how adding a striped fabric can add interest to this simple block. In both these quilt tops I show stripes used vertically in one block alternating with the same fabric used with the stripes running horizontally in the other block. The final look of both these quilts is more complex than you'd expect from a 2-fabric quilt due to the stripe variations.
