Here are other examples of using striped fabric just the
center band, but in a larger quilt. In both these quilt tops the stripes run
across the band. The first top is made of only two fabrics: one solid and the
stripe. The 2nd quilt uses two different solid fabrics in alternating blocks.
These would be fast quilts to strip piece.
